I am a radiologist-cum-photographer drawn from the darkened reading room towards a world suffused with natural light.

My current work concentrates on the peculiar beauty of coastal southern New Jersey; its interior pine barrens, flora, and fauna; and the overlooked rural communities of the Delaware Bay. A preoccupation with the moon and the rhythm of the tides often serves as subtext. I've come to think of the images as "melancholigraphs".

I create my own limited edition giclee prints up to 24" x 36" using archival pigmented inks. You may choose from Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper (gloss finish, and particularly fine for monochrome images) or Hahnemuhle Photo Rag (a lovely calendered matte paper that lends a watercolor quality to landscapes). Platinum (monochrome) contact images made for me by Luca Paradisi, a terrific photographer and gifted printmaker, are also available by special order.
